Seit November 2008 gibt es zum Real Book von Hal Leonard eine Reihe mit Play-Along CDs. Geniale Idee, Das Real Book in dieser Form oder in einer ähnlichen Ausgabe hat man ja sowieso. In den einzelnen Ausgaben sind jeweils 3 CDs mit insgesamt 60 Play-Alongs. Die Aufnahmen sind in gewohnt guter Qualität gehalten und sehr schön eingespielt.

Ist eine gute Alternative zu den üblichen Play-Alongs und deutlich günstiger! Die Play-Alongs eignen sich auch hervorragend, um Solo-Spiel und Improvisation zu üben. Durch die große Auswahl an Stücken ist hier mit Sicherheit für jeden etwas dabei.
