Soulful Jazz Play-Alongs

Soulful Jazz - Jazz Play-Along Vol. 105 - Hal Leonard I always find it very difficult to find good play-alongs. No matter where you look, the information limited to the titles on the most necessary. Not to mention sound samples or even the tracklist. The Play-Alongs by Hal Leonard I had once mentioned, they offer for my taste An excellent value for money (about 10-15 € per band) and there are dozens of titles for all tastes. Each book contains 80-10 songs, each note for Bb, Eb, C and bass instruments. On the CD the pieces are each recorded with and without melody. The tracks have been very professional and sound very groovy. So it makes great fun to play to the version with the melody it is much easier, especially for items that are not yet known so well to remain in tact and to internalize the melody.

I wish you therefore to simplify the volumes that I have already bought and played, and the search will list titles here and introducing the different tracks. I'll start today with Soulful Jazz: Jazz Play-Along Volume 105 from the Hal Leonard Jazz Play-Along Series . Included are ten soulful, groovy songs with titles that were, for example, by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Jordan, Peggie Lee, Earl Bostic Sam Taylor, Cab Halloway or the Ramsey Lewis Trio played or sung. Many pieces, however, are still relevant today and will be launched every now and then re-interpreted. The following items are included in the book:

The pieces have different challenging workout, but overall still pretty easy to play and therefore suitable for an advanced beginner. My absolute favorite is the 'in' Crowd, followed by Harlem Nocturne and Black Coffee.

Then I wish a lot of fun times with it and feel the soul - the mood here a few times MP3 tracks with different versions of each title to listen:
