Customer leaves - Part 2

When I was very happy the last few weeks with my Rico Royal 2.5 reeds, there was again in a day and more and more moments where suddenly the middle of playing the sound. I initially thought something is going on with my saxophone. After looking at all the doors, mechanics and upholstery had looked thoroughly, but I could not find anything.

So I then various sheets that I had, in turn, tried, and could this "bug", then narrow to the Rico Reeds. Vandoren Java 2.5 was still a leaf with which it went much better. But at first thought that just leaves "with" are, but they do not have any signs of wear or defects gezeigt.Letzte week Tuesday I was once again on Oli, because I had raised this issue also. He commented that this is perfectly normal, just try again another leaves.

The Vandoren sheet I had bought along with the Rico , but could not even play decently on this on the Rico Jazz Select 2.5 because I was probably too little breath. Well, and now, three months later, the Rico just to "lax" and I get along with the Vandoren much better.

Have I then at Thomann ordered Reed to try a few:

VANDOREN V-16, 2.5
VANDOREN ZZ, 2.5
GONZALEZ, 2.5
VANDOREN JAVA, 2.5
RICO ROYAL, 3

I have now today all of them (except for Rico) was tested in succession, and now the Vandoren ZZ stuck. Easy response, rich sound and the deep tones B ', B' respond well. The Gonzalez also sounds very full, but the speech is more difficult.

Well, that is a topic that is never completed - will keep an eye on the times.
