Soulful Jazz Play-Alongs

Soulful Jazz - Jazz Play-Along Vol. 105 - Hal Leonard I always find it extremely difficult to find good play-alongs. No matter where you look, the information is limited to the titles on the most necessary. Not to mention samples or even just the tracklist. The play-alongs from Hal Leonard , I had already mentioned it, they provide for my taste excellentes value for money (about € 10-15 per tape) and there are dozens of titles for all tastes. 8-10 in each book titles are included, each note for Bb, Eb, C and bass instruments. On the accompanying CD, the individual pieces are each recorded with and without melody. The tracks are recorded very professional and very groovy sound. So it makes really fun to play along, the version with the melody makes it much easier, especially for pieces that you know are not good enough to remain in tact and to internalize the melody.

I want you therefore to simplify the volumes that I've already bought and played, and the search will list titles here and introduce the individual tracks. I'll start today with Soulful Jazz: Jazz Play-Along Volume 105 from the Hal Leonard Jazz Play-Along series . Included are ten soulful, groovy pieces with titles that have been such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Jordan, Peggie Lee, Earl Bostic, Sam Taylor, Halloway Cab or the Ramsey Lewis Trio played or sung. Many pieces, however, are still relevant today and will be issued from time to time re-interpreted. The following titles are included in the book:

The pieces have different Schwierigskeitsgrade, but overall are still quite easy to play and therefore suitable for an advanced beginner. My absolute favorite is The 'in' crowd, followed by Harlem Nocturne and Black Coffee.

I wish you much fun with it once and feel the soul - for mood here's a few MP3 tracks with different versions of each track to listen:
